BACKGROUND
Margaret (Peggy) Rawitz has practiced law in Anchorage since 1975.  Her experience includes working in the legal departments of the Municipality of Anchorage and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska District.  She worked at the firm of Hoge & Lekisch from 1987 until September 2000, at which time Hoge & Lekisch and Hartig, Rhodes, Norman, Mahoney & Edwards combined.

Ms. Rawitz handles a broad range of real estate matters, including contaminated property, zoning, foreclosures, leases, evictions, and document drafting.  She has represented buyers, sellers and lenders in numerous complex real estate transactions.  She has also assisted developers and homeowners associations with a wide variety of issues.
